“Apple will be hosting a media event on Tuesday, March 17th to demonstrate the iPhone OS 3.0, the next major upgrade to the iPhone operating system.”

I think this will lead to a new iPhone later this year. “Apple’s calling this an “advance preview of what we’re building,” so we’re not expecting anything ready to go as of the 17th, but hopefully this will allow developers to start building toward future functionality (hey, how about some push notifications?), and presumably users won’t have too many months to wait after that for the real deal.”

حجزت محكمة التمييز أمس برئاسة المستشار احمد العجيل الطعن المقدم من النائب السابق مبارك الوعلان على حكم الاستئناف القاضي بتغريمه مبلغ 1000دينار وذلك عن تهمة حيازة سلاح بغير تصريح 

وكانت محكمة الاستئناف قد عدلت حكم أول درجة القاضي بتغريم الوعلان عن تهمة حيازة سلاح بغير تصريح من نوع قناصة (خرازه) ما تسبب في مقتل وافد كوري. وتتلخص الواقعة أنه في شهر سبتمبر العام الماضي أصيب وافد كوري الجنسية بطلق ناري بجانب حائط السجن المركزي مكان وجود عمله أودى بحياته وبعد تحريات ضابط المباحث تبين ان أحد الأطفال من أقارب الوعلان استخدم السلاح من شرفة منزله المقابل لمبنى السجن المركزي

ConnectU lawsuit against facebook resulted in securing $65M settlement, It was a confidential settlement until the law firm representing ConnectU decided to do a little marketing for the latest lawsuit victory with their newsletter and now it covers all the over the internet webpages. I think another lawsuit will pull out all the money back to facebook. who knows if you could win 65m in one day you might just lose it in the next one. 

Why dont we have major lawsuits in Kuwait with lots of money being paid as settlements all what I hear is 5001 KD as a settlement.

btw do they really pay the one dinar in the 5001 or its just a judge’s way to tell a joke?
