Hala Kuwait.. Hala walla!

Well well well.. It might be a blog aggregator? but no.. It’s not! Posts are copied and pasted right away!

I knew about this “Hala Kuwait” blog yesterday when Dudette from 7ajidude.com posted about them, so I went to take a look at this “rippo-boy” blog! I figured out a quick way to find where posts were copied from, just click on any image in any post and then click on “View Image”. The image will view in a new browser tab, and take a look at the URL… ripped posts were taken from meenakon, Z District, Q8Path, 7ajidude, BlogLaish, Kuwaitiful, BuzzFairy, Froyonation… and much more!

How am I so sure about content being ripped, and not RSS’ed!?

I double checked the HTML page source of every post ripped by Hala Kuwait and compared it with the source post, let me put it in a clearer way… every HTML code is like a unique DNA combination that cannot be so much similar in such a way, unless it was COPIED.. and then PASTED. RSS feeding does not copy font size and color features (Technically called CSS – cascading style sheet- attributes).. It is so clear for the eye that these posts were manually copied and pasted.. to clearly understand what I’m talking about check out this post that was ripped By Hala Kuwait from Z District, and focus on the font type, size, and color.. then compare it to the font in other post on Hala Kuwait.. this can never, I mean NEVER, happen unless it was manually copied!

WELL!! This Hala Kuwait blog was either suspended by Google, or removed by the owner while I was writing this post..

Alhoula Massacre

Dozens of children, killed in a ruthless massacre in Alhoula – Syria by Al.Asad’s regime… It’s painful, hurtful, and annoying not being able to take action.. all I can do is pray for them, and I truly hope if someone could start something to help those poor people, and I’m sure many people will follow including myself. The video below is not recommended for WEAK HEARTS, I’m warning you..

Note to small business owners..

Since the beginning of this blog, I had absolutely no problem supporting small businesses posting about them, reviewing their products, or even visiting them to show support. Lately I have been trying my best not to ignore any email I get from business owners, but the thing is that I have missed many. Through this post, I hope you guys accept my apologies for not posting about your businesses, and I assure you it was completely unintentional.

It’s just that sometimes I fall under the great pressure of daily routine work besides other responsibilities, so please don’t take it personal and I promise you that I will try even harder not to miss any email a business owner sends asking for support… what could be better than supporting my nationals achieving their goals and being successful?

Thanks, love you all :)

The new Nike Store – Al.Bedaa

I wrote in my previous post about the invitation I have received for the opening of the new Nike store in Al.Bedaa, and I was lucky enough not to miss it :) I came late as usual and missed the outdoor event, as I was looking for a place to park my car in. The store is the 5th in Kuwait and is literally “awesome”; two floors full of the usual cool stuff for men & women.

I took a tour around the store and took some shots, here they are :)

A self portrait that I have taken, wearing the T-shirt I got with the invitation :)

From the outside, the store is in Al.Bedaa next to T.G.I Fridays

Yeah.. My favorite corner <3

Lots & lots of cools things

The Guest log.. Wish you guys all the best

Reunited after 21 years…

I’m sure you have heard stories about people reuniting after being away for years, but this time it’s my story…

Khalil was my childhood friend since we were 6 years old till the Iraqi invasion on Kuwait, and I haven’t heard from him since then. We used to live in the same complex in Salmiya back then, we grew up together, went to school together, had the same interests, collected postal stamps together, assembled LEGO cars and planes, collected Thundercats action figures… we have even had that crazy thought of “building a robot”, all because of the influence of “Sanshiro” cartoon series lol…

Throughout the years I tried to reach to him, I have also contacted “Majed” magazine asking for their help finding my best childhood friend!! but with no use. Few months back, while I was reorganizing my “postal stamps collection” which I started collecting along with Khalil, he came to my mind, and with my laptop next to me, I ran a search on facebook.. and there he was!! God!! what am I supposed to send him? how do I say it’s me Nasser! Does he remember me?.. I sent him a message asking if he was the Khalil I knew.. and waited for his reply for 4 months.. see below

Just gave him a call, but he didn’t pickup  :P I miss you buddy.. :)
