The higher management of Investment-Dar requested each department head to decrease the number of their employees. Starting last week they’ve informed some employees to find alternative jobs.

We’ve been reading about this club in every newspaper these days, for those who doesn’t know the club here are some facts about it.

تأسس نادي الاستقلال عام 1962 وأخذ اسمه من مناسبة استقلال الكويت”
هو امتداد للنادي الثقافي القومي الذي حل عام 1959.
ساهم في حشد الموقف الشعبي ضد اتفاقيات المشاركة النفطية اوائل السبعينات.
قبلة لزوار الكويت من القيادات الوطنية العربية وآخرهم الزعيم اللبناني الراحل كمال جنبلاط.
حل في 20-12-1976 م وفي 27 – 7 – 1977 حاصرت 4 عربات مسلحة بوابته بعد صدور قرار تصفية ممتلكات النادي وأمواله.
أحرقت لجنة تصفية النادي كل ما ضمته مكتبة النادي من كتب تؤرخ تاريخ الحركة الوطنية في ساحة النادي.
