Flashback trojan hits Macs – Info and fix

You have probably heard about the trojan that have recently been hitting Mac personal computers. What’s really comforting, is that the vulnerability is not related to the OS X, but to Java, and is exploited to start a backdoor trojan. I have read this article on Mashable, including a step-by-step guide on how to find out if you’ve been affected, how to fix, and how to immune your beloved mac against this nasty trojan.
I followed the steps and found that my MacBook nor my iMac were affected (Dear Jacqui, It’s still crystal clear with no dead pixels… *yet*
). The checkup process is easy, run two scripts that are available for download (Linked to Mashable’s article). Getting a “does not exist” message means that your mac is fine. And yeah.. Don’t forget to apply the new Mac OS X Java updates to get rid of the Java vulnerability.
