I promised to post a full review about iPhone 4, but the videos I have recorded do not seem to work for some reason. Anyway, I had some captures and few notes, specially in regards to the so-called antenna problem.

I wish I could have posted a more detailed review… but this is what I currently have:

• Shape
• Installation
• Performance
• Antenna and reception

Shape:

Almost 12cm in height, 6cm in width, and less than 1cm in depth makes it really the slimmest smartphone ever! held in hand, and compared to iPhone 3Gs you will not feel a difference in the device weight, there is a huge difference in the shape.. clearly! Feels comfortable holding a phone with sharp edges, beveled controls and buttons.

Installation:

As it always has been, use a pin to get the simcard slot out, put your sim in, and that’s it. Tested with a Zain voice Microsim card.

Performance:

The performance was so great and as fast as the iPhone 3Gs, but take into consideration some more added features to the device itself.

Antenna & Reception:

Worked perfectly; I was supposed to upload a test video showing how to hold iPhone 4 the “wrong way”! Reception was full while being in active and stand-by mode, it was full as well while calling. I think that this antenna issue might face you someday, if you were in a basement or a low reception area… Do not blame Steve Jobs for it! Anyway, I’ll try uploading the antenna test video asap.

Oh, one more thing… This will be the best solution in case you face the so-called antenna issue…
