Well.. Zain MiFi vs. Cameo?

I got the same emails iLSuL6ana got and posted about few days ago. The email suggests that Zain’s MiFi is a total ripoff with the KD 85 price, plus a subscription for 30 KD?
I’d say: PZZZZZT! WRONG!
It’s 30 KD for the device if you subscribe for a Data package, which is 30 KD/Mo if you do not have a contract in Zain, and 27 KD/Mo if you do. Here’s the thing, a list of features that you cannot find in the device sold in cameo for KD 70:

The device is customized to suit Zain’s network and to avoid connection drops.

The device is Auto-configured to be immediately connected to Zain’s network.

An Arabic interface for the routers’ control panel.

A ONE YEAR warranty on the device.
But, If I get the Zain MiFi, It is KD 30 + a 30 KD/Mo Super Data subscription from Zain (for those not having contracts in Zain, and KD 27 for contract holders), I will end up paying:
30 + (30×12) = KD 390 for the 1st year.
I think that a KD 100 makes a big difference PLUS the features above!

hi all
1) cameo mifi router does not have connection drop with any network (zain, wataniya, and viva)
2) cameo router works with all companies around the world including zain, wataniya and viva
3) cameo mifi has14 months warranty which is more than a year warranty
4) cameo mifi can be configured to work only with zain, but we did not do it to allow people to configure it with other companies

1- cameo mifi has connection drops, I have tried it myself and I regreted buying it.
2- yeah it works.. if you know how to configure it manually!
3- this is new! when I bought it there was no warranty! check with your people in Hawalli!!
4- No you cannot.. becuase the type of configuration Zain did required some changes in the hardware itself.. and that involves a special agreement with Novatel Wireless.. not with some “Jabal 3li” exporter, if you know what I mean!
