Sesame Street to Be (Temporarily) Added to NYC Map

The City will temporarily re-name a street in honor of the program’s 40th birthday.
“If you’d like to get to Sesame Street, just take the number 1 to Lincoln Center and walk down to 64th Street.
Starting tomorrow that’s where you’ll find the famous street sign that has unofficially been a symbol of New York for decades.
In honor of the show’s 40th anniversary, New York has proclaimed Nov. 10, “Sesame Street Day,” and will temporarily name a piece of Columbus Ave. at 64th Street in the show’s honor.”
